A view of the refugee camp in Calais, including the government-built area, months before it was demolished. The Calais Jungle was a illegal settlement of refugee and migrant near the town of Calais in north of France. The refugees and migrants choose to settle there as it is close to the Euro tunnel which connect the UK with mainland Europe and they were waiting for their chances to crossing into the UK by hiding into trucks that were heading to the UK. The Calais Jungle settlement was finally demolished by the French government in October 2016.
