An English hunting hanger/pistol combination, circa 1760 Slightly curved single-edged blade with double-edged point and shallow fullers on both sides. On the obverse screw-mounted round barrel with cannon muzzle, the smooth bore in mm calibre. Cock and lock housing lightly engraved and inscribed "I. Hall London", English proofmarks on the underside of the barrel. Brass hilt decorated in relief, with guard plate and knuckle bow.
