A Marine Corps F-35 Lightning II from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 242, out of Iwakuni, Japan, taxis by 8th Operations Group F-16 Fighting Falcons, at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Oct. 31, 2022. The aircraft traveled to Kunsan as a part of the Pacific Air Forces command sponsored VIGILANT STORM 23 training event. VIGILANT STORM integrates and ROK forces to train on mutual support procedures and maximizes command and control capabilities that improves understanding and trust between the two nations.
