Marines from across III Marine Expeditionary Force, the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Marine Corps Installations Pacific, sit aboard a KC-130J Super Hercules during a trip to Iwo Jima, Japan, Dec. 19, 2017. The KC-130J belongs to Marine Aeriel Refueler Transport Squadron 152, based in Iwakuni, Japan. The Marines flew some 850 miles east from Okinawa, Japan, to visit the historic island, now called Iwo To, to tour the battle site and honor the men who fought there in February 1945.
