Clayton House is part of a row of ornate facades at the corner of Piccadilly Manchester, next to the junction with Newton Street. Inscribed on the stonework near the top of the facade is the year 1907 in Roman numerals: 'AD MCMVII' and underneath the words 'Clayton House'.
