The foundation-stone ceremony was the last service of the kind Mr. W. Hodge, ofHull, was privileged to attend. Matthew Denton, Francis Rudd, and W. Edmandson should havehonourable mention in any account, however brief, of the earlyhistory of Primitive Methodism in Beverley.
