Oulton Swing Bridge is on of four remaining swing bridges in thee Anglia area of Norfolk, the others being Trowse, Reedham and Somerleyton. Oulton Broad swing bridge was built in 1907. They must be able to open to river traffic - a requirement of an act of parliament.
