Towers of Sant Francesc de Olot in the Garrotxa region of Gerona province, Catalonia, Spain
The towers of the Sant Francesc hill are three round-plan towers built in the 19th century in the municipality of Olot and declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. One of these is located around the crater of the Montsacopa or San Francisco volcano and recalls the Carlist wars. Its situation is totally ruinous, like its twins located specifically in the Bisaroques volcano and in the Montolivet volcano. [1] They are made with volcanic stone, they had an access door and ground floor and floor with numerous loopholes. They are round in plant.
