Grant, the representative of the DetroitUnited Railway on the board of arbitration which is to con-sider the appraisals of the property of the company, andJudge James O. Murfin, of the Wayne County CircuitCourt, the representative of the Committee of Fifty on theboard, decided to extend an invitation to Robert W. Tayler,Judge of the United States Circuit Court, at Cleveland,to act as the third member of the board of arbitrators, andon April 14, 1910, after visiting Judge Tayler in Cleveland,Mr. Grant and Judge Murfin announced that Judge Taylerhad agreed to accept the appointment. It was arrangedat the conference in Cleveland to begin the hearings onApril 25, 1910.
