The change of command ceremony of Army Japan took place at Camp Zama, Japan on June 25, 2021. Brig. Gen. JB Vowell became the new USARJ Commander on the day. Maj. Gen. Viet X. Luong had been commander of USARJ for past three years and relinquished command in USARJ change of command ceremony on June 25, 2021.
