The objects of the Alliance are (1) to laborfor the general welfare of China both at home and abroad, (2) to pro-mote the common interests of the Chinese students in the United States,and (3) to promote a friendly relationship and a better understandingbetween the United States and China. - In order to meet local conditions, the Alliance is divided into threesections—the Eastern Section, the Midwest Section, and the WesternSection.
