GRAND BARA, Djibouti - 160 service members from Camp Lemonnier joined approximately 2,500 military and civilian runners at the 36th annual Grand Bara 15k race in the Grand Bara desert, Dec. 13, 2018. Delegates from France, Djibouti, , Japan, China, Italy and others participated in the race hosted by the French military and the Djiboutian government. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables , allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
