Italian playing cards used to play Briscola

These are the Piacentine design, made by Dal Negro, of Italian playing cards. Used to play the popular card games Briscola and Scopa, for 2-6 players. Briscola can be payed open (all cards visible) or closed, with only the trump suit showing. The four suits are Spade (swords), Denari (coins), Coppe (cups) and Bastoni (clubs, batons, sticks). The rank of cards is Ace (asso), 3, king, queen, jack (fante), 7, 6, 5, 4, 2.
