I created this wildlife photo of a Boat-Tailed Grackle as it was struting through a parking area on Black Point Wildlife Drive in Merrit Island.

The Boat-tailed Grackle is a larg, lanky songbird that is common in many areas of Florida. They have a long tail that they typically keep in a V-shape like the hull of a boat, hence the name Boat-tail grackle.
