The Confederation Bridge joins the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, and is Canada's longest bridge.

At almost 13 kilometres long, the Confederation Bridge is the world's longest bridge crossing a body of water that freezes in winter. The water in this photo is not actually frozen, but was rendered smooth through the use of neutral density filters and a long exposure.
