It consists of a frame of honey laid o»er the top of the others; if you have no extras, one can be removed from the brood-nest for the pur- pose. A 100-pound flour sack is spread over the top and a piece of burlap inches is laid over this. The First Inner Overcoat is telescoped down over the brood-nest in between the inner and outer hive walls, the flour sack and burlap being carried down with it. This has the effect of wrapping the brood-nest in a blanket. The Second Inner Overcoat is then telescoped down over the first.
