BalaRama standing in samabhanga on a low pedestal. In his right hand he carries the plough and his left is in katyavalambita mudra. A conspicuous Tengalai namam (mark of the forehead of the southern branch of Shri Vaishnavism).adorns his forehead. He wears a white dhoti with a red border; a green angavastra (shawl) tied around his waist and draped over his elbow, and from his crown hang shoulder ornaments. He has two pairs of earrings, on the lobe and on the helix. On his chest is a golden kavacha (armor) with an embossed design just beneath the pectoral muscles. From his shoulders hangs a floral garland. The foreground is green, with a narrow black area near the frame.
