Benalmadena Parque de las Palomas

Parque de las Palomas, Benalmadena is a municipal park and derives its name from the numerous collar doves that inhabit the park. This is a favourite place for locals as well as tourists to relax amongst the numerous trees, shrubs and bushes, many of which carry colourful blossom even in February when this picture was taken. As well as the flora there is plenty of fauna to be seen, including peacocks, swans, ducks, geese, rabbits, cats and even ibex.
