Long grass growing around and through a wooden bench in West Norwood Cemetery give the feeling of nature taking over.


West Norwood Cemetery is open daily to the public, although the catacombs can only be accessed on a guided tour. It covers 42 acres (17 hectares ). It was opened in 1837 and is still in use today.
