TOTEMS The Totem of the whole Nation ofBANNER STANDARDS. Woodcraft Indians is the White Buffalohead, symbolized by the Horned White Shield. This isused chiefly on Totem poles and on publications. Each Tribe, of course, has aspecial Totem. This is selectedby the Council, and should besomething easy to draw. So, also,each Band has its totem and,finally, each Brave adds a privateTotem of his own, usually a drawingof his Indian name, if he wins one.
