Two forms are made. Form 1, with mal-leable-iron deflector bars to prevent a fly-ing trolley harp from being wedged, is usedfor crossings of from 30 deg. to 60 deg.,while Form 2, without deflector bars, is forcrossings from 60 deg. to 90 deg., sincewithin these latter limits there is no danger that a harpwill catch. For the present these cross-overs will be fur-nished for No. 00 round, figure 8 and grooved wires Section Insulator The bronze splicer is an entirely new design knownas type C. It is made to combine lightness, strength, clear-ance for trolley wheel and smooth under-run. The lips ateach end of the splicer are bent around the wire to encircleand protect it throughout the entire length. There are nohollow places in the underside to cause arcing.
