France, Somme, Saint-Riquier, the Belfry of Saint-Riquier is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The belfry still looks as it did at the end of the 18th century. It is a square tower built of limestone and sandstone. The base of the monument dates from the Middle Ages, while the top of the tower dates from the 16th century. The bell tower, built at the end of the 18th century, contains a bell, Magdaleine, cast in 1571.
