St Petersburg, Russia - 12 June 2011; no people in view. The Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood is one of the classic sights of St. Petersburg, Russia. This magnificent Byzantine-style church was built on the spot where Czar Alexander II was assassinated in 1881.
