And now, turning from the past to the future, it is fullof promise, and I bid you God-speed and go forward—thebest is yet to be. Like the boy who was asked by thestranger: Have you lived all your life in this town? Notyet, sir, said the boy. So the past has been great, and thepresent is good; but there is more light to break and moregood to follow under the blessing of God.
