Vault of Chapel of St Antonin, with images of God and the 24 Elders, surrounded by the 4 Evangelists from Apocalypse of John, in polychrome tempera

The Church of the Jacobins is a deconsecrated Roman Catholic church located in Toulouse, France. Built entirely of brick, its construction started in 1230 and influenced the development of the Southern French Gothic (Gothique meridional) architectural style. The Convent is sometimes considered the mother church of the Dominican order as it was founded in the city of Toulouse. The relics of St. Thomas Aquinas are also housed there.
