Soft pure rose. In Rose Queen we have a Carnation of that desirable and taking soft pure rose color, so much admired by flower lovers. The flowers are of good size and well formed, on very long stiff stems, and are pleasantly fragrant. The plant is one of the most vigorous and cleanest of growers, quite productive and decidedly promising. Per dozen, $; per ico, $15. DELL A FOXHA^. 'S96). A cross of Grace Wilder and Daybreak. A large flower much deeper in color than Daybreak on strong, stiff stems 20 to 30 inches, which are strong enough to hold the flowers erect. An exceptionally prolific bioomer; a stronger grower than Daybreak, and splendid calyx. Shows no sign of rust and is an exceptionally promising new variety. $ per dozen; $15 per 100. STORM KING. Pure snow white. The most magnificent white Carnation ex- tant. Very large snow white flowers 3 inches and upwards in diam- eter, borne on stiff, wiry stems 16 inches to 2 feet and upwards long. Bloom full, very symmetrical and of good substance and a good keeper and shipper, and very fragrant. Good calyx, not inclined to burst. Plant a healthy moderate grower and a good bloomer, producing two-thirds to three-quarters as many blooms as McGowan, which it resembles somewhat in constitution. Cuttings root as freely as McGowan.
