Wendover, UK. 26th January, 2024. HS2 have demolished six houses in Ellesborough Road in Wendover, Buckinghamshire as part of their works for HS2 High Speed Rail construction from London to Birmingham. Next week HS2 are closing Ellesborough Road for two weeks whilst they link a new temporary realigned road behind the existing houses. Not only is the construction work very traumatic for the residents who remain, but HS2 have also tragically destroyed and wired over numerous badger setts in the banks along Ellesborough Road.
