As a whole, the country might be con-sidered as a fair producer of the smaller fur-bearing animals, as the fox, otter, mink andmusk rat, but very little larger game exists, which is largely accounted for, I believe, bythe barren, desolate, burnt state of the country. Water Powers. At numerous places, already described, the volume of water and the vertical drop isfufficiently great to develop water power. As special instances.
