Cocullo, Italy. 1st May, 2015. Every year in Cocullo (Abruzzo, Italy) is hold a unique festival in onoour of saint Domenico, protector from snake bite. The tradition is ancient as the human being on the earth because snake represent the connection between uman life and the mother earth. The snakes in the pictures are "four lined snake" (Elaphe quatuorlineata).
