Bellanca Model J aeroplane, with '3 Musketeers' on the side. This aircraft, a high-wing monoplane, was designed by Italian-US aircraft engineer Giuseppe Mario Bellanca (1886-1960). He developed his first designs in Italy, emigrating to the USA in 1911 and founding a flying school in New York City. Bellanca founded the Bellanca Aircraft Company in 1927. Photographed circa 1925.
