GRIGGS The greatest honor that could befall a lawstudent in Streator was to be invited to a part-nership by Hon. Walter Reeves. This honorcame to Kdward M. Griggs, on his admission tothe bar, after iiaviu- been a student in Edward M. Griggs. Ree\es oflice. When the great lawyer and pub-licist passed on and Mr. Boys returned to theoffice, the firm name became Boys, Osborn &Griggs. Tiie junior partnei- lias been busy jus-tifying Ml. Reeves judgment, and luis liad lit-tle tiujc to figure in jniblic affairs; but he haslicen digging into the law, trying cases, writingbriefs, and attending to the multifarious de-tails which the business of a l)ig law firm bringsto the office.
