Washington, DC - During Police Week the National Peace Officer's Memorial Service was held at the Capitol in honor of fallen agents and officers across the nation. Customs and Border Protection hold up blue ribbons at the end of the service in solidarity with everyone at the service. The ribbons honor the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, as well as all of the men and women who serve and protect communities every day.
