The flowers of largest size vary in color through charming tones of cream, pink, lavender, blue, white, red, etc., hardly any two being exactly alike. Dreer's Long-spurred Pink Shades. A special selection of the greatly admired pink shades of this most popular type. Canadensis. The native bright red and yellow variety, and one of the brightest. Chrysantha. Bright yellow long-spurred flowers. Flabellata Alba. Compact growing, large, pvie white. Skinneri. Yellow with long orange-red spurs. Vulgaris (European Columbiw). Flowers violet-blue, very free. One of the most desirable of the very early spring-flowering plants that is especially adapted for edging and for the rock garden, but does equally well in the border, forming a dense carpet, completely covered with pure white flowers. It is nice for cutting, and lasts for a long time in bloom. 25 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100 Armeria (Sea Plnk or Thrift) Attractive dwarf plants that will succeed in any soil, forming evergreen tufts of bright green foliage, from which innumerable flowers appear in dense heads, on stiff, wiry stems, from 9 to 12 inches high. They flower more or less continuously from early spring until late in the fall.
