Costa Rica's Tirimbina Biological Reserve is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of biodivirsity and protects 345 hectares of tropical forest. Tirimbina´s forests are used for ecotourism and environmental education, with over 5 miles of hiking trails. Two suspension bridges, one over the Sarapiqui River and the other within the primary forest, give access to one of the least explored parts of the rainforest, the canopy.
