Tree roots wrap up and fuse with ancient stone temple ruins, Ta Prohm, Angkor, Cambodia

A gate to the ancient Buddhist stone temple of Ta Prohm, engulfed by the roots of a large tree, in an illustration of nature against man, natural against man-made, or the power of time against the hardness of rocks. Ta Prohm is part of the Angkor complex of sacred Buddhist temples erected by the Khmer Buddhist empire which ruled over South East Asia, now a UNESCO World Heritage site visited by millions of tourists and travelers every year.
