Take-off during the VA233 launch at the ELA-3 launch zone at the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana. An Ariane 5 rocket was used to place four Galileo satellites in Earth orbit. This launch carried satellites 15-18 of the 30-satellite network. The European Space Agency's Galileo navigation system will consist of 30 satellites orbiting over 23,000 kilometres above the Earth. It is scheduled for completion in 2020. Photographed on 17 November 2016.
