The Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia and Head of AMISOM Ambassador Maman Sidikou briefed the Atlantic Council on the political and security situation in Somalia, on 5th October 2015, in Washington DC. The Atlantic Council is a think tank in the field of international affairs. Founded in 1961, the Council provides a forum for international political, business, and intellectual leaders. It manages ten regional centers and functional programs related to international security and global economic prosperity.
