The ruins of a terrace of houses in the old slate mining valley of Cwmorthin, near Blaenau Ffestiniog. They were originally named Cwmorthin Terrace, but later more houses were built, and the terrace was re named "Tai'r Llyn", Welsh for Lakeside Houses.
