Air Force Tech. Sgt. Sergio Avalos, a survival, evasion, resist and escape (SERE) specialist, trek through bushes with pilots of Team Whiteman to a designated starting area to conduct the navigation portion of their SERE training , 2017 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. During this portion the pilots are must use given coordinates to locate a meeting point with the SERE instructor.
