Petty Officer 1st Class Justin Anzaldua, a Coast Guard culinary specialist from the First Coast Guard District, gives a budget-friendly and nutritious cooking workshop Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the New England Center and Home for Veterans in Boston. Roughly one quarter of veterans are food insecure, so Anzaldua teamed up with Lovin’ Spoonfuls, a local non-profit leading systemic change in hunger relief, to provide veterans culinary skills specific to the challenges they face.
