Paris, France - 19 September 2018 Place Vend™me is a beautiful and luxurious square in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. Located just north of the Tuileries Gardens, it si packed with high-end shops and hotels, including the Ritz - definitely an expensive spot! The square is dominated by the vainglorious Vend™me Column, seen here. This erected by Napoleon I to commemorate the Battle of Austerlitz, and is closely modelled on Trajan's Column in Rome.
