A Medieval basilard circa 1350-1400. In excavated condition, made in one piece, with tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section cut with a fuller on both sides at the forte, the fuller enlarged over the full length of one side of the tang, with short flat quillons, the tang and the quillons pierced for attaching side-panels of horn or wood, and the pommel folded to form a large T.
