Shoes 1775–1825 probably European One of the few 18th century examples of children's footwear preserved in the collection, this infant's shoe features an appealing two-tone yellow color scheme to add interest to the simple form. The cut derives from the adult latchet-tie style, but has the added feature of an ankle strap.
