Asomaton Monastery was an Greek orthodox monestary founded around 1200 BC and abondened at the beginning of the 20th century. There are still palm trees growing in its garden. Das Asomaton-Kloster im Amaris-Becken am Fuße der Psiloritis-Berge wurde um 1200 gegründet und im 20. Jahrhzundert verlassen. Abgesehen von der Kirche lliegt das Kloster in Trümmern. In den Gärten aber wachsen noch Palmen.
