The Gold State Coach leaving the coronation of His Majesty King George VI (1895-1952), 1937. As seen here an annexe in the Art Deco style was constructed as an add-on to Westminster Abbey for the occasion. George VI's coronation took place on 12th May 1937 at Westminster Abbey, the date previously intended for his brother Edward VIII's coronation.
