View S overlooking the excavation of an Iron Age broch in the garden of the Flodigarry Hotel, Trotternish, Isle of Skye. To the rear is the croft land of Dunans: spectacular lava landslips on a dolerite sill running down from the Quiraing ridge to the sea. The remains of the circular prehistoric fort (defended house, defensive tower) had been landscaped as a garden feature.
