Red & White brand green beans. Architects, engineers, students and designers from architecture and construction firms around the city participate in the 21st Canstruction Design Competition in New York, seen on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, on display in Brookfield Place, formerly called the World Financial Center. The participants design and build giant structures made from cans of food which will be donated to City Harvest at the close of the exhibit. Last year 91,000 pounds of food were collected and donated to food pantries around the city. Over 100 cities host a competition. (© Richard B. Levine)
