Where only one sowing is made, July should be preferred. Cine- rarias grow so freely that the seedlings may go straight from the seed-pans to thumb-pots. After transplanting, place in a cold frame facing north, if possible. When the pots become full of roots, shift into larger ones till the flowering size is reached. Our prize strain is justly celebrated for all good qualities, being espe- cially noted for size, coloring and texture. 1963 Dreer's Prize Dwarf.
