Amputated Foot


A young man crosses his left leg over his right knee. The left foot was amputated due to unknown causes. The amputation could be attributed to either Mycetoma (a bacteria and fungal disease associated with farming) or diabetes. Many diabetes sufferers develop ulcers on the feet as the result of inadequate supply of blood to the feet or through neuropath
