A protofeathered Lythronax comes upon a pair of Diabloceratops in an area that used to be on the edge of the North American inland sea. Both animals and a species possibly related to Troodonts have been found in the Wahweap Formation where Utah and Arizona meet, known as the Grand Staircase. Lythronax was an early Tyrannosaurid that was about 24-26 feet long and may have hunted the early ceratopsian Diabloceratops.
